Hard Drive Clicking But Still Works You run the risk of condensation forming on the electronics when you take it out, and likely other than the Hard drive failing the rest of the laptop is fine.

I would *not* recommend putting the whole laptop in the freezer. used pre boot diag software and getting error code ‘biohd-8' and the hard drive fails the test, as well as clicking sound ever 2 - 4 seconds. That way, if one fails, your data is still safe on the other.
